Detailed System Overview & Technical Capabilities
Bosch Conference System – Flexible System Design
The Bosch Conference System (DCN Next Generation) gives you complete control over your conference environment, whether it’s a permanent installation or a setup that needs frequent modification and expansion. Built around a Central Control Unit (CCU), this advanced conference system operates seamlessly with or without application software. Delegate units connect through a simple “loop-through” configuration, while additional modules like cameras, interpreter desks, and audio components can be integrated effortlessly to create a tailor-made conference solution.
Easy System Expansion
Designed for maximum versatility, the Bosch Conference System can be scaled to fit any requirement — from small meetings to large international conferences. Expanding the system is as simple as connecting new delegate units or adding a secure Wireless Access Point (WAP) for wireless discussion units in hard-to-reach or temporary locations. With 128-bit AES Rijndael encryption, it ensures confidential and interference-free communication. The system supports up to 4,000 delegate units and integrates smoothly with cameras, PA systems, touchscreen controllers, and video conferencing interfaces.
Audio Expansion and Redundant Backbone
For advanced audio distribution, analogue or digital audio expanders can be connected to enable audio logging or seamless sound sharing across multiple rooms. The system also supports CobraNet™ devices for real-time digital audio distribution via Ethernet. To provide multilingual support, the Integrus transmitter can be incorporated to distribute language channels to the audience. All components are linked via a high-speed fibre-optic cable, ensuring loss-free transmission and a secure, redundant backbone for uninterrupted performance.
